I’ve used this service twice. The first time was great. Two really nice, professional guys who knew how to hussle! They even laid down a carpet barrier because of the rain. Very nice touch. The price was good for what I got, so I was pleased. Fast forward about 8 months. Needed to move again, so called these guys. The price was higher, even with a returning customer discount. I figured it would be ok as long as the service was the same. I’m here to say it was NOT the same. There was a constant drizzle and yet no one laid out carpet protection. The carpet was trashed and had to be cleaned. The younger of the 2 men was always standing and watching the other guy do stuff. I had to ask several times to get moving. The only break down they had to do was my metal bed frame. It took the guy almost an hour to figure out how to unscrew it for transport. Overall, this second crew was slow, poor communicators and untrained as movers. They went over the alloted time because of lack of training and the price should have reflected that.

Even though it has been 6 months now since our move, I still wanted to give a positive shout out to “A Perfect Mover” and their crew of 6 men who worked extremely hard one day last August, the day they packed my household belongings and moved them from one house to another. Because of the size of my houses, Shane suggested two trucks with 6 employees which I thought was overkill but turned out to be perfect. It turned out to be an all day affair, about 12 hrs. Not only did they move heavy furniture but also multiple pieces of very heavy exercise equipment from and to a 3 story house, each with a very steep incline, not to mention temperature in the mid 90s. I was initially worried that there would be too many movers walking over each other and a lot of rest breaks, but that didn’t happen. All 6 were friendly, positive, professional and hard working and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I’ve hired A Perfect Mover twice and they were amazing both times but this last crew, JC and Scott, far exceeded my expectations. I underestimated the amount of stuff I had as well as the time it would take to pack. When they arrived, I was stressed, exhausted and still had a lot to do. They busted their butts and did it with a smile. Nothing broken/scratched. Great prices (discount for repeat customers too). Good communication and fast response time when scheduling. I know I kind of overused the phrase but, seriously, thank you guys. I really appreciate all you did.

Number one is that they showed up on time, ready to work. Then, they did an excellent job of assisting my wife in how to organize all the various elements that a long time storage unit typically builds up. When I got to where they were moving all the stored items, their organizing made sense and I left it just as they had put it in place. I can’t give my thumbs up any higher a rating as they garnered from me and my wife…I recommend them totally and with no reservations… Thank you to “A Perfect Mover” for a job well done…dj
